A South African favourite with a twist. This Chenin Blanc was fermented in barrels and not stainless steel tanks, which gives it a glorious golden colour and lovely dried fruit and butterscotch aromas reminiscent of traditional wooded Chardonnays. Full-bodied mouth feel and a lingering finish makes this a white wine that demands attention.
The wine is well-balanced, fruity and fresh enough to enjoy on its own, yet it is creamy and bold enough to match with stronger flavoured white meat dishes.
It is perfect as a welcome drink to guests or enjoy with a chicken salad on a sunny day.
Store in a cool and dark place. Once open, finish or close tightly and keep refrigerated.
